The site alloted for the project is - Sir John Soanne’s Museum located in london.
Sir John Soane’s Museum is a house museum, formerly the home of the neo-classical architect John Soane, located in Holborn, London, adjacent to
Lincoln’s Inn Fields. It holds many drawings and models of Soane’s projects and the collections of paintings, drawings and antiquities that he assembled.
IDEA DEVELOPMENT & CONCEPT
Development of the idea from the very begining after considering the needs and available things on the site
Developing the idea of flaps for the portable device Painting cum storage (idea)
Concept for the device is based on the japanese art of paper foldin - Origami. Also considering painting as major part of the site.
So, the design is a combination of folds, flaps and painting and also the requirements of the site.
