The elements of the project like- The Brochure, Food and the Light generated from the pockets through the cell phones create the interaction among the space and the people.
The Forest table
As the construction of the structure took place in the month of october, so the rain was considered while designing.
IDEA GENERATION & DESIGN DEVELOPMENT from the very beginning
Distraction infiltrates our space and time is monitored to the second. The Third Space creates a gap in the time - space planes allowing users to disconnect into the quiet of their minds.
Project concept is based on the Japanese theme
Muji - Minimalism, Simplicity and the art of living.
As the site is a forest table, so the design of the structure is based on a leaf. The curtains around the leaf structure creates a third space for the people
using the area. the pockets are provided on the exterior of the curtains to create a drama, lighting and also a social space where the person can avoid their cell phones
PROTOTYPE MAKING,& TESTINGS
During the making of prototype, various materials were tested for the making of actual structure. various cloth materials were tested with the mobile
flashlights. Also various mechanisms were tested for the project - pulley system.
